Metastatic Breast Cancer in the LGBTQI Communities

Little is known about metastatic breast cancer in the lesbian, bisexual, gay, trans, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI) community. However, the available research indicates that people in these communities often have less access to medical care, including cancer treatments. And some in the LGBTQI community are at a higher risk of developing breast cancer.
